This week, that somebody is your kid.

Kids create functional ceramic pieces meant to be used at home — not displayed on a shelf, but actually held, eaten from, and washed afterward. Monday begins with a slab-built bowl or plate, focusing on shape, proportion, and the balance between useful and beautiful. Wednesday, once pieces are leather-hard, kids carve in patterns, names, or textures, then build a mug and learn how to make a handle that looks right and feels right.

Friday is for underglaze painting — interior colors, exterior patterns, finishing touches that make each piece feel personal. The pieces go to the kiln and come back ready to use two to three weeks later.

Check out more summer camps! →

———

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT
Camp runs with a minimum of 3 enrolled students.
