A four-week introduction to handbuilding for all levels — moving through pinch and coil basics, slabs and soft forms, surface and texture, glazing and finishing. Six students max, working outside under the oaks, no wheel required.

WHAT YOU'LL MAKE: Bowls, vases, and small sculptural pieces built by hand — students leave with a small body of finished, glazed work.
WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting muddy. Sun protection — hat, sunscreen. Hair tie if your hair is long. An apron if you have one (we have aprons too).
WHAT WE PROVIDE: All clay, tools, glazes, firing, and outdoor studio time during class.

WHO THIS IS FOR
This class is a slower way into clay — no wheel, no motor, just your hands. Built for beginners and anyone who wants to work outside. There's nothing to prove. Most students arrive never having built with clay and leave with finished pieces they made themselves.

YOUR SPACE
You'll have your own space at the table for every session. Six seats, six students. No sharing, no waiting, no rush.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund up to 7 days before the first session. 50% refund or full studio credit between 6 and 1 days before the first session. Once class begins, no refunds for missed sessions. Makeups are not guaranteed but we try to accommodate when there's space.
