Spend the whole week building one ambitious piece that deserves the extra time.
Most weeks, kids make several pieces. This week, they make one. A dragon. A castle. A giant mushroom. A life-size head. A wild sculpture they've been wanting to make but never had time for.
Monday is for planning and structure — figuring out scale, support, and how to make a bigger idea hold together in clay. Large work teaches patience, but it also teaches problem-solving, because gravity always has opinions. Wednesday is for continuing the build, refining shapes, solving the structural issues that showed up overnight, and adding details that make the piece feel finished. Friday is for underglaze painting — every surface, every angle, every strange decision.
The sculpture goes to the kiln and comes back two to three weeks later. Big work takes time. That's the point.

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT
Camp runs with a minimum of 3 enrolled students. Families will be notified in advance if minimum enrollment is not met.
ABOUT THE WORK
Ceramic firing is unpredictable. Cracking, warping, glaze defects, and firing loss are normal risks of working with real clay and real heat — we'll always let you know if something happens to your piece. Pieces are held for 30 days after firing; unclaimed work after that becomes studio property.
CANCELLATION POLICY
