WHY A SEMESTER
Pottery rewards repetition. Twelve weeks lets students build muscle memory at the wheel, see their work through the kiln, and develop real skill — not just a one-day project. Along the way they're building fine motor skills, creative problem-solving, and the kind of patience that only comes from making something real with your own hands.
WHY AGES 7 TO 17 TOGETHER
Pottery meets every student exactly where they are. A 7-year-old pinching their first bowl and a 15-year-old centering clay on the wheel are both fully engaged, fully challenged, and fully proud of what they make. Mixed ages enrich the room — older students develop leadership and mentoring skills, younger students are inspired by what's possible. It mirrors the homeschool philosophy of learning together across ages rather than being separated by grade. Our instructor adapts each week's project so every student is working at the right skill level while sharing the same studio experience.
A SMALL CLASS BY DESIGN
Three to six students. One teacher. Real instruction, real time at the wheel, real cohort.
MINIMUM ENROLLMENT
A minimum of 3 students is required to run the class. If we don't reach that number, families will be notified at least one week before the start date and given a full refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund 21 or more days before the first session, minus a $25 processing fee. 50% refund 8 to 20 days before. No refunds 7 days or fewer before the first session unless we cancel. Missed sessions are not refundable but we try to accommodate makeups when there's space.
